Compilation error with 0.3

Salut tout le monde !

Sorry to post here but Support forum is closed (Thanks for relocating if needed).

I tried to compile openalchemist-0.3 from sources and create a package for Archlinux. First of all the Makefile complained about a missing program: zip. So this would be great if the README could specify that compilation (and execution ?) needs that program.

Second, I got the message :

Code:

g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../src    `pkg-config --cflags clanCore-0.8 clanDisplay-0.8 clanApp-0.8 clanGL-0.8 clanSDL-0.8` -DDATA_DIR="\"/usr/share/openalchemist\"" -march=i686 -mtune=generic -O2 -pipe -MT Application.o -MD -MP -MF .deps/Application.Tpo -c -o Application.o `test -f '../src/Application.cpp' || echo './'`../src/Application.cpp
In file included from /usr/include/ClanLib-0.8/ClanLib/Display/Collision/collision_outline.h:60,
                 from /usr/include/ClanLib-0.8/ClanLib/display.h:81,
                 from ../src/Application.cpp:14:
/usr/include/ClanLib-0.8/ClanLib/Display/Collision/../../GL/opengl_wrap.h:2533: erreur: ‘<anonymous>’ has incomplete type
/usr/include/ClanLib-0.8/ClanLib/Display/Collision/../../GL/opengl_wrap.h:2533: erreur: invalid use of ‘CLvoid’
make[1]: *** [Application.o] Erreur 1

while executing the command make in the script

Code:

  ./configure --prefix=/usr
  make || return 1
  make DESTDIR="$startdir/pkg" install

I'm stuck here has I have very few knowledge of ClamLib and some lack in C++. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward testing your soft,

Cilyan Olowen

Re: Compilation error with 0.3

I'm sorry, I don't know what to do. It seems to be a ClanLib problem. We may check this with the clanlib team (#clanlib on irc.freenode.net). I'll take a look on it as soon as possible.

Re: Compilation error with 0.3

Thanks, I will wait to hear from you then.

The ClanLib version I use is 0.8.0

Re: Compilation error with 0.3

It seems to be a ClanLib 0.8.0 bug. It has been corrected in 0.8.1. Openalchemist compiles fine now and is available in the repos of Archlinux.
If you are using archlinux, type

Code:

yaourt -S openalchemist

or go to http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=21000 and download the tarball.
